About the Author Norman
Dubeski is a Sociology instructor at Guelph and Laurentian
universities. He has a B.A. and M.A. from the University of British
Columbia, writing his thesis on sexual inequality. He received his
Ph.D. from McMaster University, writing his dissertation on the
classical sociological approach for studying morality. Since then, he
has published in The Electronic Journal of Sociology and The Journal of
Political and Military Sociology. Interested in a bit of everything, he
has taught courses including Social Deviance, Criminological Theory,
Young Offenders, Violence and Society, and Politics & Society.
His
novel The Master of God’s Domain is about an arrogant doctor who takes
all ethics into his own hands, declaring himself defiant of both
society and God. His more cheeky novella, "Centaur in the City," is
about a centaur’s adventures in visiting human society.
